Meet the Harpers
the mostly true story
It all started in 2021 when Aidan saw Lexi’s profile on Hinge and sent her a “like.” Lexi thought he was cute and couldn’t resist replying to his prompt about bagel sandwiches.
Their first date was at Parson’s Chicken. They both ordered the hot nuggets — but barely touched them because they were too busy talking. In fact, they were so wrapped up in conversation that they eventually got (politely) kicked out so the restaurant could seat someone else. Fast forward to June 2025, during a picnic on a weekend “stay-cation,” Aidan pulled off the ultimate surprise: he asked Lexi to marry him and and she said yes!
Now living together in Chicago, they love exploring the city, trying new restaurants and recipes, hosting game nights, and spending time with their favorite people. Their story has been full of love, laughter, and a fair amount of McDonalds — and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
