Getting to Harpswell, Maine

Harpswell is a historic midcoast Maine town. To the north, it’s bordered by Brunswick, Maine. Whether you’re flying in or taking the Amtrak, please note that Uber and Lyft are not reliable options — this is Maine, and they’re not quite there yet. We suggest renting a car for the weekend. Note: We will be providing transportation to/from the wedding since personal vehicles are not allowed at the venue. More details under “Where to Stay” below.

FLY INTO PORTLAND, MAINE

Portland International Jetport (PWM) is the closest airport to our wedding venue. From PWM, it is an approximately 35 minute drive north to Brunswick, Maine and an additional 20 minutes to Harpswell, Maine.
P.S. Be sure you do not book flights to Portland, Oregon!

FLY INTO BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is another option that may offer more direct flights if you’re up for a little bit longer drive. From BOS, it is an approximately 2 hour drive north to Brunswick, Maine and an additional 20 minutes to Harpswell, Maine.

AMTRAK DOWNEASTER

Amtrak offers daily round-trips between Brunswick, Maine, Portland, Maine, and Boston (North Station), Massachusetts . The train station in Brunswick is an approximately 15 minute drive from our wedding venue and there are a few hotels within walking distance of the train station. This is a magical place - so much so, in fact, that lodging can get booked up quickly! We recommend booking as soon as you know you can attend.

    We have reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Brunswick Freeport for a discounted rate. Transportation will be provided between the wedding venue and this hotel.

  • There are a variety of Airbnbs and VRBOs in the area. Booking for 2026 is currently limited for many of these properties and minimum-night stay requirements are common.

    Please plan to take the provided transportation from the Fairfield Inn & Suites (a large parking lot is available) or make arrangements with a local taxi company. Parking is not allowed at the venue.

  • There’s also a variety of smaller boutique hotels and bed&breakfasts in the area. We do not have a block of rooms at these hotels.

    Please note: Shuttle service will pick up and drop off at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites; we may add a second shuttle stop once we have a better idea of where guests are staying. Please plan to take the provided transportation (there is a large parking lot at the Fairfield) or make arrangements with a local taxi company. Parking is not allowed at the venue.
